ISD 194 voters are supporting Carly Anderson because she is:

  • Endorsed by the ISD 194 teacher and staff associations (Education MN – Lakeville and LEAF – Lakeville Education Assistants Federation)
  • A clinical neuropsychologist at the VA who will advocate for mental health support for students and staff
  • An active and engaged parent in our district
  • A board member on two national boards, including a role as a Treasurer
  • A collaborative leader who has made community connections at the city and district levels

A candidate for our 194 community.

My name is Carly Anderson and I am honored to be running for Lakeville Area School Board in ISD 194. My husband and I are proud to send our children to Lakeville Area Public Schools and we are grateful for the amazing teachers and staff of our district. It would be my privilege to earn your vote so that I may represent the interests of your children and family, working with the school district we call home.

From each corner of our district’s boundaries – from Lakeville to Burnsville to Elko New Market and beyond – every student in our community should have what they need to be successful in our schools. I believe that our shared goal as a community should be to grow and support a school system that works for all, and one that addresses the unique needs of each child.

I am running because every child in our district deserves access to a high quality, equitable education. This campaign is focused on what matters most – our kids. If elected, I will work tirelessly to lift their voices and always put their needs first.

I truly believe that close collaboration between the district and families is the key to moving forward as a learning community around shared goals and values. I invite you to partner with me in this important work so that we may best serve every child in our community and support their future success.

We are better together, so let’s get to work!
